Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a drama from 1957. This film became hugely popular and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships with Lee Strasberg. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been a popular director for well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
