Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the first female to take home both the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is the Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter, media celebrity as well as a CrossFit competitors - is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first woman winner of The CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. Her other accomplishments include taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland along with her family. She was a keen sportsperson and was active from the age of five. She first took part in 2009 in the CrossFit competitions in California and did excellently in the first round. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She stands at 5'7" tall and weighs about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventures in California in 2009. She was able to perform very well in the initial matches. She finished amongst Top 10 among over 70. Although she did not win any of the titles however she was able to finish with an 11th-place finish. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished in second place, and also won an Olympic silver medal that same year. After a year of CrossFit Games she won the first CrossFit Games. Her impressive display earned her the title. Annie has been the first woman to have won repeatedly in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, she received a gold medal. In 2021, she received with a bronze. At present, Annie runs and coaches with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's increasing popularity as a athlete has seen her become the brand ambassador for many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae.
